Helpers Needed!

A long-time feature of the annual Christmas Eve 5pm Family Mass at Or Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Middle Park, has been the Childrens Pageant.

Children dress in costumes to take the part of Mary and Joseph, the Angels, the Shepheards and the 3 kings. During the Mass they act out the Gosepl story of Jesus' birth as it is read.

The children love it, as do their parents, families, friends and all others who attend this Mass. It is a much loved feature.

Its presentation requires some organization and supervision by adults. For more than 20 years, the same coupe of parents have been doing this - long after their own children were involved. They are now ready to hand over this role to a new generation of parents.

If this much-loved tradition is to continue, it requires some new parents of children who might be onvolved to "step up to the plate".
