Library News

Welcome back to Term 4!!

Great to see everyone on Wednesday in the Library. I spent a lot of time putting away all the holiday reads, helped by some of the Year 6 Leaders during Library Club. 

You should be seeing some new bookmarks in the books coming home. The bookmark competition was a huge success and I love how excited the kids are to see their work being used by others of all ages. 

I did visit the scholastic warehouse sale again over the holidays and have attached a picture keen eyes will be excited to see some of their requests and some have gone home already. I have a long list to fill and will be doing this gradually over the Term.  

Someone asked me today if I had any good recommendations, yes I have lots and lots !I have lots of great book recommendations for all ages and love encouraging new reads as well as shared reading. There's something here for everyone.

I am expecting new Book Club catalogues soon, which is a good opportunity to look at Christmas reads and presents. Scholastic have a function you can select so that the book doesn't go home with the student - to keep it a surprise - reach out if you have any questions about Book Club.
