A Journey of Grace: Celebrating Our Year 3 Reconciliation Students

We continue to pray for our Year 3 students who are completing their learning about the Sacrament of Reconciliation and we pray for those students who are preparing to receive this beautiful gift of God's love and mercy through the Sacrament.

This has been a deeply meaningful time of faith growth for our students and their families. Please join us in supporting and celebrating them as they take this important step in their spiritual journey.

This Sacrament marks a major milestone, as it’s the first time children formally receive God’s forgiveness and grace after their Baptism. They have spent the Term learning about conscience, forgiveness and the depth of God’s unconditional love.

  • A huge thank you to our Parish Priest, Fr. Jerome Santamaria, for supporting the children.

  • Thank you to the dedicated Year 3 teacher, Miss Ariel Tovey for integrating the Sacramental preparation into their Religious Education curriculum.

  • Thank you to all our Year 3 parents and families. Your commitment to attending the upcoming workshop and supporting your children’s faith journey at home is essential to the success of the program.

We pray that the peace and joy they experienced in this Sacrament will stay with them always!

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (also called Penance or Confession) is often celebrated in Year 3 as children begin to develop a stronger sense of right and wrong and an awareness of their choices.

This Sacrament is a profound expression of healing and renewal in the Catholic faith. It is a celebration of God’s endless mercy.

Jesus taught us that forgiveness is always available, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation is the beautiful way the Church offers this healing to us.
