In the Classroom
and out and about!
The Foundation & Grade 2s were joined by local author and former Langwarrin Park student, Tanae Halyszyn. Tanae’s book, Together We Can, celebrates belonging, diversity, and the many ways children shine. Through gentle words and joyful illustrations, Tanae encourages young readers to recognise the unique gifts each person has to share. From the art table to the playground, every page shows that together we can create, learn, and grow—because everyone belongs. Together, we can build a happy, inclusive world.
Together We Can will be available in the LPPS Library for students to borrow, and Tanae has also left a beautiful, inspiring message for all families.

Students participated in a range of engaging activities designed to develop their leadership qualities and essential life skills. Throughout the day, they explored topics such as:
• Application Letter Writing – learning how to present themselves confidently and effectively in written form.
• Team Building – working collaboratively to strengthen communication and cooperation.
• Problem Solving – using creative thinking and resilience to overcome challenges.
• What Makes a Great Leader – reflecting on the values, behaviours, and mindset that define strong leadership.
To conclude the day, students had the opportunity to hear from our 2025 School Leaders, who shared their personal experiences, challenges, and insights about their own leadership journeys. Their reflections inspired students to think about how they can contribute positively to our school community as future leaders.

This week, we officially reopened our newly refurbished Middle Years toilet block!
The upgraded facilities provide a cleaner, brighter, and more comfortable space for our students, with improved, modern fittings, and an overall refreshed design.
We appreciate everyone’s patience during the works and are thrilled to see students enjoying the new space.
