Grade 3/4 Bike Skills
The Grade 3/4 students had their second Bike Skills session with AusBikes on Wednesday, 29th October. Students are continuing to build their confidence levels on a bike, while also learning about how to safely ride with other bike traffic around them.

CHANGE OF DATES FOR 3/4 BIKE SKILLS
Due to the extreme weather last Wednesday (22nd October), we shifted the 3/4's Bike Skills session to November (as a make-up session)

Division Cricket Final - Friday 17th October
Well done to the 11 Grade 6 students who represented Donvale at the Division Cricket Final in Week 2. The 10 over-a-side match was played at and against Serpell Primary on a sun soaked Friday afternoon.
While we didn't come away with the win, our cricketers showed great resilience to fightback from a tough start to take the match down to the last couple of overs, and lots of fun had. Well done Grade 6s!
Regional Athletics - Thursday 23rd October
Congratulations to Grade 6 students Odin and Audre, who both competed in the Regional Athletics Competition in Week 3. A super effort to get to that level of competition, and racing against the best runners in the region. Both contested the 200m running event, and did a terrific job. We're very proud of your efforts boys. Odin competed against the 12/13boys, finishing 6th overall, whilst Audre raced against the 11boys, finishing up an outstanding 4th position overall. OUTSTANDING running boys!!!
5/6 Swimming - Wednesday 5th - Friday 7th November
Next week, our Year 5/6 students will be heading to Aqualink Box Hill for their swim skills and safety lessons over three consecutive days – Wednesday 5th, Thursday 6th, and Friday 7th November.
Students will have 75-minute sessions each day. Based on student feedback, sessions will be split by gender (boys swimming first, followed by girls).
The first bus departs DPS at 11:25am, so please ensure your child arrives prepared and ready to go.
As students are highly likely to swim in the outdoor 25m pool, they should apply sunscreen before leaving school and bring the following items each day:
We’re looking forward to a fun and active few days in the water!
