🍜 Chinese Cuisine Project – Wrapping Up with Delicious Creativity!

During the first two weeks of Term 4, our Grade 4/5 and 5/6 students revisited their Term 3 topic, Chinese Cuisine, with a tasty hands-on finale! To complete the unit, each student chose one favourite dish from the Five Regional Chinese Cuisines they had studied and researched earlier in the year. Many created delicious dumplings, while others made spring rolls, fried noodles, or rice dishes — and one brave chef even tried Peking Duck! Bubble tea was another popular pick that many students enjoyed preparing themselves.

Although we couldn’t display every single dish, many of these beautifully crafted creations are now showcased in front of the Chinese classroom along with colourful photos of our young chefs. It was a fun and inspiring way to celebrate learning — full of imagination, teamwork, and cultural discovery — as students wrapped up their Chinese Cuisine journey with great pride and creativity!
