Important Dates

As Year 12 students head into their exam period, there are some important dates to keep in mind when applying to university.

VTAC Equity and Scholarships- close 13 October
VCE Results- released on 11 December
Change of Preferences- close 13 December
First Round Offers- released on 23 December

Tips and Hints

Always accept your first offer. You can turn it down later if a better offer is made, but it is better to accept something than nothing, as you can always change courses once you are at university.
If you do not get the ATAR you were hoping for, remember to change your preferences and make sure that you have a backup plan listed.
If you do not get a first-round offer, remember to check your preferences and make changes to them. There are still five more rounds of offers made throughout January and February, and you can make changes to your preferences after each one.

Remember that if you need advice throughout this process, I will be available on the 11 and 12 December onsite and via email and phone. I will also be available on the 23 December via email. Do not hesitate to reach out, and do not delay in asking for help, as the timeframe to change preferences during these times is very limited.
