This is an important time for students to remain focused, organised, and consistent in their study routines. To support success, students are encouraged to begin their revision program for core subjects by establishing a regular study schedule at home. This is key to building confidence and reducing stress before exams.

Below are the suggested homework and revision times for both weekdays and weekends to help students plan their study effectively.

Recommended Revision Routine for Exam Preparation

  1. Start Early  - 4 weeks before the exams

  • Create an effective dedicated study space which is quiet and free from distractions. Ideally, use a desk or table (not a bed or couch) with enough space for your books, laptops and notes.
  • Organise folders of notes and revision sheets for each subject on the desk
  • Create a study timetable that includes all subjects
  • Break study time into short, focused sessions (30–45 minutes each)
  • Prioritise core subjects and any topics you find challenging.
  • Set small, achievable goals each day (e.g., “Revise Chapter 3 equations” rather than “Study Maths”)
