Shepparton Cup – Sunday, 22nd October 

Well done to the St Brendan’s students who played in the soccer tournament, the Shepparton Cup, on Sunday 22 October. 

The St Brendan’s teams were the only two school teams to enter the tournament.  

There were 226 teams registered, from as far as New Zealand, Cairns and Tasmania, made up of squad representatives - the best kids from their areas!   Our little school teams were very competitive.  

St. Brendan’s Under 7’s 

Well done to the kids on putting in the work preparing for the tournament and trying their best in the matches on the day.

Players: James, Mapieu, Jack, Isaac, Rudhvin also joined by St Luke’s students Patrick and Ashton  

Special thanks to Steve Lamb for coaching and to all the parents for their support. 

 St. Brendan’s Under 8’s 

Under 8’s finished second in their pool and went into the Grand Final against a very high scoring team.  Unfortunately they lost 1-0, but everyone was so impressed with their performance and behaviour across the weekend.

St Brendan’s v Brimbank Stallions – 2 - 0 

Semi final: Croydon City (tournament winners) defeated St Brendan’s 1- 0 

Players: Ishan, Rhadi, Nasir, Aubrey, Levi, Alexander, Ryan, Marcus, Kur, Jack
