Principal's Award - Harvey Wilson

Every day during Week 6 Harvey met Mr. Nilbett at the sports shed (without being asked) in the morning and offered to help move the sports equipment to the oval or Mercy Centre and tidy the shed up. He went out of his way to go get a broom to sweep the sand out and put the rubbish in the bin. This links beautifully to the Mercy value of stewardship which is when great care and responsibility is taken for places and things. Harvey’s helpfulness, respect and care shown to the sports equipment and sports area is a great way to show this value at our school. His help has been truly appreciated. Thank you and well-done Harvey!

Principal's Award - Adele Christopher

Last Wednesday was photo day at Sacred Heart. This day requires a lot of organisation and coordination. Mrs Bryant asked Adele to assist to get classes to come when it was their turn for photos.

Adele you did this job with excellence. You rushed from class to class ensuring that all students knew where they had to be and communicated beautifully with the staff who really appreciated your organisation. At one stage you fell over but you did not stop doing your job and you did not complain. This is an excellent example of someone who goes about their day with excellence.
