Dear Parents and Carers,
I can’t believe I am writing the penultimate newsletter of the 2025 academic year. The year has passed so quickly, and I am incredibly proud of everything our students, staff and families have achieved together.
We began the season of Advent with a beautiful prayer service led by Mr Criniti. Advent invites us to pause, prepare and look forward with joy to the birth of Our Lord. At this time each year, I am reminded of my trip to Bethlehem in April 2023. We were blessed to visit the birthplace of Jesus—a moment that remains one of the most profound of my life. As I placed my hands on the small altar marking the exact location of His birth, I felt a deep and indescribable sense of peace and euphoria. It is an experience I will carry with me forever.

I hope that many members of our community will one day have the opportunity to visit Bethlehem and experience that same profound connection to our faith.
Yesterday, our Year 5 students presented their Leadership Speech. Each year Year 5 student seems to grow in confidence, maturity and passion as they strive to be chosen as Year 6 leaders. Thank you to Ms Girgenti and Ms Tsokas for preparing the students with such care. We will share the results with the children on Friday morning, when they will be able to call their families to share the news.
Our teachers have worked thoughtfully to place students into classes for next year, considering friendships, learning styles and the needs of each cohort. I will finalise the lists on Tuesday morning.
