Every Day Counts

We have officially launched our 2026 Attendance Initiative at St Patrick’s!

Every day counts, and being at school helps our students build friendships, grow in confidence and keep up with their learning.

Here’s how it works:

•Each day when the roll is marked, if a class has 100% attendance,

•The teacher will choose a student to place a counter in their class jar at the office.

•At the end of the term, the class with the most counters will choose a reward!

We can’t wait to see those jars filling up! Let’s work together to make 2026 a year of strong attendance and strong learning.

PBIS

This is our 'School Wide Expectations' regarding behaviour, we refer to it as our 'Behaviour Matrix'

This Matrix is displayed in every classroom at St Patrick's.

The Teachers explicity teach these to the students.

Our PBIS Blitz is:

he PBIS Blitz for Weeks 5 & 6 is: Looking After Our School Yard 🌿

At our school, we show respect and responsibility by taking care of our schoolyard and taking pride in the place we learn and play every day.

Riley:

What does this look like?

  • Put all rubbish in the red and yellow bins
  • Place food scraps in the green class compost bins
  • Pick up any rubbish you see in the yard, even if it isn’t yours.
  • Put away sports equipment neatly after you finish using it.
  • Leave play areas, gardens and equipment clean and tidy.

Isla:

Why is this important? Looking after our school yard shows pride in our school and respect for our environment. A clean, tidy yard is safer, more enjoyable, and welcoming for everyone.
