Message From Our Principal
Mrs Jackie Stockdale
The past two weeks have been incredibly busy, with plenty happening across the school, including all our Learning Conversations and Parent Support Group (PSG) meetings. We appreciate the time and effort from families, staff, and support teams in ensuring these meetings run smoothly and effectively to support our students. A huge thank you to everyone for their ongoing commitment and collaboration.
Our recent Swimming Sports was a fantastic day filled with energy, enthusiasm and wonderful displays of sportsmanship. It was terrific to see so many students challenging themselves in the pool, whether they were striving for a personal best, competing for a ribbon, or simply having a go. The encouragement from peers and staff created a positive and supportive atmosphere throughout the day. Thank you to our staff for their organisation, to our parents and grandparents who lead the cheering, and to our students for the way they represented our school with pride. It was a great celebration of participation, resilience and St Pat's spirit. Here are some photos of our winners on the day:

I was incredibly proud of Jim and Charlotte who represented our school so confidently at the Bendigo Bank Grant & Sponsorship Presentation Night. Speaking about the Inform and Empower session we participated in during 2025, they shared their reflections with clarity, maturity and genuine passion. They articulated the impact the session had on our students and school community. Jim and Charlotte were outstanding ambassadors for our school, and we could not have been more impressed with the way they conducted themselves on the night.

We extend our sincere thanks to Bendigo Bank Tongala for their generous sponsorship of our Boys To The Bush Program and our Inform and Empower sessions. Their ongoing support enables us to provide meaningful opportunities that strengthen resilience, wellbeing and leadership in our students. Partnerships like this make a genuine difference to our school community, and we are incredibly grateful for their commitment to investing in the growth and development of our young people.
Regular school attendance is vital for a child’s academic, social, and emotional development. Attending school every day ensures students don’t miss out on essential learning experiences, helping them build foundational knowledge and skills across all subjects. Consistent attendance promotes positive habits, improves social connections with peers, and strengthens relationships with teachers, creating a supportive learning environment. Missing school, even occasionally, can lead to gaps in understanding that may be difficult to catch up on, affecting both confidence and long-term achievement. By attending school regularly, students are better prepared for future educational and career opportunities, setting them up for lifelong success.
Please find attached the information sheet and application form to apply for CSEF (Camp, Sports & Excursion Fund).
If you applied for CSEF last year, you do not need to complete an application form this year unless there has been a change in your family circumstances, eg. if you are a new family, your circumstances have changed, or new siblings have commenced this year, please complete the attached form with a copy of your Health Care Card.
You can also get a hard copy of the form from the office.
If you have any questions regarding this form please contact Andy in the office.

In 2026, we will continue to place a strong focus on student attendance, as regular and punctual school attendance is vital for learning, wellbeing, and long-term success. Being at school every day helps students build strong routines, maintain friendships, and fully engage with their learning. We appreciate the ongoing support of families in prioritising attendance and working in partnership with the school to ensure every child has the best possible opportunity to thrive.
