During library lessons this week we reviewed Media Literacy. Media Literacy Week runs from 24/10/26 - 31/10/26 and students participated in activities designed to develop their understanding of media. Students explored the meaning of literacy and how being literate helps us read, write, understand information and use it to solve problems. They also discussed the importance of reading, analysing, evaluating and creating messages across different media forms. The book Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type was used to assist students in exploring these concepts in an engaging and age-appropriate way, encouraging them to think critically about communication, messages and how information can be shared and understood.
