It has been a busy couple of weeks in (and out of) our classroom and students have been tackling their learning tasks with excellent Grit.
Last Monday, we attended BioLab in Geelong for a sports science investigation into heart rate and the science behind cheating in sports. Students enjoyed the hands-on learning activities, particularly trying to see how their heart rate altered while exercising.
Students have also been enjoying investigating electrical circuits, creating simple circuits to watch how electricity flows. We're also eagerly awaiting the resources to be able to build our own torches.
Finally, on Monday we participated in an excellent online session with Kids Helpline, focusing on Bullying and how we all can be agents for change. Students took a lot out of this session and their participation and engagement was fantastic.
Congratulations to our Students of the Week!
28/07/25 - Ava, for taking responsibility for her learning and managing distractions around her. Well done, Ava!
