🎋 Tanabata Festival – Thank You! 🎋
Over two days, we held the Tanabata Festival, a celebration of Japanese culture and tradition. We were thrilled to see that nearly all students participated, making it a very popular and joyful event.
We would like to sincerely thank all the parents and guardians who supported us.
This year, in addition to writing wishes on Tanzaku (wish strips), students also enjoyed a fun "Snacks fishing" activity, which was a big hit!
Thanks to your generosity, we raised a total of $595.
We truly appreciate your support.
🎋 七夕フェスティバル開催のご報告 🎋
2日間にわたり、日本の伝統文化行事である「七夕フェスティバル」を開催しました。学校のほとんどの生徒が参加してくれ、大変人気のあるイベントとなりました。
ご協力いただきました保護者の皆さま、誠にありがとうございました。
今年は短冊に願いごとを書く活動に加え、子どもたちに大人気だった「お菓子釣り」も楽しんでいただきました。
また、イベントを通して合計 $595の募金が集まりました。温かいご支援、ありがとうございました。
Grandparents and Special Friends day
Thank you to everyone who supported our final school event of Term 2 – Grandparents and Special Friends Day.
We were delighted to welcome nearly 200 visitors on the day, and it was a wonderful celebration made possible thanks to your help and participation. We truly appreciate your support in making the event such a success.

Our 2025 Readathon has launched! Pick up a book, join the Readathon, and let’s make this our biggest reading event yet!
Please visit https://www.mycause.com.au/events/cpsreadathon2025 to find your child’s individual fundraising page. The Readathon runs from 16 June - 25 July. At the end of the six weeks, each student will receive a prize based on their individual amount raised.

CPS is now a registered donation partner with the Victorian Container Deposit Scheme! 10 cents from every container will be donated to the school.
The next time you drop off your containers, help the school raise funds by entering our ZoneID: C2000015213 or scanning this barcode.
Our nearest collection point is at 357 Hawthorn Road, next to the 7-11 just down the road (https://maps.app.goo.gl/VbkK59kmezNn3uFAA). But stay tuned for exciting news on a dropoff point at school.
