At St Peter’s we encourage our students to read from a wide range of genres to help broaden their horizons. We have updated our Classic fiction section which include novels ranging from Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice” to Jules Verne’s “20,000 Leagues under the Sea”.

Even though we define classic literature as books that have been around for a long time, they still have enduring relevance with themes running through them such as love, loss, loyalty and betrayal. Our students’ world is changing all the time and classic books can give them a perspective to grapple with big ideas.
