2027 enrolments are now open!
Do you have a child that will be starting school at Team Westbreen next year? Enrolments for 2027 are now open and enrolments forms need to be submitted before Friday 31st July.
If you have any queries regarding enrolling your child please don't hesitate to contact Miss Kerry via the above email, by calling on 03 9306 9481, or just chat to her if you see her in the yard.
OPEN DAY
Last Wednesday we held our Open Day, where our existing families were invited to walk around the school and visit their child, or children, in action in their classrooms. The whole school was open for our visitors, with many families making their way around to observe our awesome teachers and students engaged in learning.
Open Day is also an important opportunity for our prospective families, especially our 2027 Foundation students, and we received lots of positive feedback about how engaged, settled and welcoming our classrooms were.
The highest praise, however, was reserved for our AWESOME Grade 6 school leaders, who conducted small group tours for our new families. Our school and house captains were highly commended for their friendliness, confidence, speaking skills and ability to answer every question they were asked. Thank you to Wren, Nisa, Nate, Umar, Zainab, Saviour, Nandini, Kimara, Ava and Anvika. You demonstrated such mature leadership and were shining examples of our school values. Well done!
A big THANK YOU also goes to our Canteen Manager, Miss Bridget, for the delicious morning tea she prepared for us. If the outstanding leadership shown by our student leaders didn’t convince families to join Team Westbreen, then the morning tea certainly did! 🌟🌟
Family Time this week...
This week at Family Time, we’re bringing out the board games 🎲♟️🧩
Enjoy an afternoon of awesome bonding whilst playing your favourite board games with your families and friends. Classics such as Snakes and Ladders are always a winner. The marble-chomping, hippo-feeding frenzy Hungry Hippos is also fast becoming an all-time favourite at Family Time. Of course, for anyone brave enough to challenge our reigning queen of Connect Four, Miss Kerry, we salute you and wish you all the best!
Head to the Specialist Building at 3.15PM for a fun-filled afternoon of games with your family time family 😀
A couple of friendly reminders:
- an adult must accompany AND supervise their child, or children, during the Family Time session,
- if your child needs a snack after finishing school, please eat it BEFORE joining us in the Specialist Building.
Last week's balloon animal craft activity was so much fun! Not sure who enjoyed it most, the parents & grandparents, the children, or Rhoda, Atika, Miss Adria or Miss Kerry😀

Westbreen's Community Playgroup is back 🌈👣
Westbreen’s Playgroup is now held every Tuesday from 9am to 10:30am in our school hall. All visitors are required to sign in via the school office before making their way to playgroup. You do not need to be an existing member of the Westbreen community to attend — our playgroup is open to all families with children aged 0–5 years.
