2026 School Theme - Coherence
Dear Westbreen PS Families,
School Disco
Only three weeks until our annual school disco!
There will be two separate discos on the same day held in our Specialist Building:
- Foundations to Grade 2: 4:30pm – 5:30pm
- Grade 3 to Grade 6: 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Tickets will cost $12.50 each and must be purchased in advance to attend via Xuno. Tickets will be available from tomorrow. Paper tickets will then be distributed to families prior to the event. Check out the Parents and Friends Committee page for more details.
Simultaneous Storytime
Tomorrow, Westbreen Primary school will join millions of children, parents, teachers, and library lovers across Australia and beyond, to read Luna Roo at the same time — celebrating the joy of reading, storytelling and connection. The story follows the spirited kangaroo Luna and her friends as they chase their football dreams across the outback, blending action, teamwork and fun to inspire young readers.
Another great way that we celebrate the love of books and reading at Westbreen Primary School.
District Cross Country
Well done to all of our students who attended the District Cross Country last Thursday. They showed our school value of achievement, giving their 100% best effort on a challenging track. A special congratulations to the following students who have qualified for the next level of competition.

- Ava (3rd place)
A big thanks to the staff and parents who helped to organise and attend the event, providing great support to our talented students.
Reminder: School Mobile Phone Policy
At Westbreen Primary School, we understand that students may bring a personal mobile phone to school, particularly if they are travelling independently to and from school.
At Westbreen Primary School:
• Students who choose to bring mobile phones to school must have them switched off and securely stored during school hours (this means from 8:45am-3:15pm)
• When emergencies occur, parents or carers should reach their child by calling the school’s office.
In accordance with the Department’s Mobile Phones – Student Use: Policy | education.vic.gov.au issued by the Minister for Education, personal mobile phones must not be used at Westbreen Primary School during school hours, including lunchtime and recess.
