BROOK FAUX
Class 6 has had a terrific year thus far! Our first semester wrapped up with two back-to-back excursions; we had the privilege of visiting the Lila Community, Uluru and Kata Tjuta, all over just 5 days. Adventures were had, geology and history facts discovered, and new memories made. Class 6 returned full of appreciation for all they had experienced.
Our second camp was to Earth Sanctuary which got us all very excited about Astronomy! The children located the Dark Emu constellation, many for the first time, and also got to see Venus and Jupiter in conjunction with each other; amazing! The starry sky here in central Australia is truly spectacular - everything was so clear to see. These two camps have given life to our Geology and Astronomy main lessons. The children completed some fabulous mini projects too.
It has been a settled and productive year, with many more wonderful lessons to come!
Warmly,
Brooke
