NAIDOC Week

We look forward to celebrating NAIDOC Week in Week 1 of Term 3, with a range of activities and events planned for our students, a number of which have been planned by our Student Voice Team. This is an important opportunity for our school community to recognise and celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

On Tuesday 14th July at 3pm, we will hold a flag raising ceremony, an initiative suggested by our Student Voice Team. Our School Captains will share a speech about what each flag represents and the importance of flying all flags, before raising them together.

On Wednesday 15th July, we will hold an out of uniform day. Students are to wear the colours of the Aboriginal flag and are asked to bring a gold coin donation, with all funds going to a First Nations charity.
