Belgrave Lantern Festival

What a wonderful evening we shared at this year’s Belgrave Lantern Festival. It was incredibly special for Menzies Creek Primary School to be part of such a vibrant and well-loved community event.

Our students represented the school with pride as they took part in the parade. The lanterns, thoughtfully created during Care Groups, were a true highlight and reflected the creativity, teamwork, and care that our students bring to all they do. A standout feature of our procession was the remarkable train lantern, generously designed and created by our talented grandparent, Kim. It provided a stunning focal point and was admired by many along the parade route.

Our school stall was also a great success throughout the afternoon and evening. It was a pleasure to connect with members of the community, share more about our school, and see so many people engaging with our badge-making activity. Opportunities like this allow us to showcase the strong sense of belonging and spirit that defines Menzies Creek Primary School.
