Book Fair

A huge thank you to the Solway community for supporting our Book Fair.

We raised over $1100 dollars.

Some of the money will go towards buying new books for the library and the rest will be used to purchase new resources.

I'd like to thank our  parents who volunteered their time to help run the Fair. Our parent volunteers are an invaluable assets to the library at Solway. We appreciate how freely they donate their time to support the school.

Library News

The library is always a very busy hive of activity on any weekday. We encourage all students to carry their books to and from the library in a bag which helps to protect the books from dirt and damage.

If a junior student comes to the library without a bag, we have been able to lend them one with the promise that the bag will be returned. If you have any of the library's bags at home, could you please ensure that your student returns them to the library asap as we have run out of loan bags.
