Regional Cross Country

On 11 June, Grace H, Lucie S, Audrey H and Benjamin G represented Solway at the Regional Cross Country held at Yarra Valley Racecourse. All four competitors performed exceptionally well and should be proud of their efforts on a challenging course against strong competition.

A special mention goes to Grace and Lucie, who both delivered outstanding runs to finish in the top 10 in their respective races.  As a result of this impressive performance, Grace and Lucie will go on to represent Solway at the State Cross Country next term.

Congratulations to all students involved for their commitment, determination, and excellent sportsmanship on the day.

Junior Cross Country

Our Junior Cross Country, held on 11 June, was a fantastic success, with students in Prep-Year 2 enjoying a wonderful day of participation, challenge, and achievement.

Congratulations to all students who took part. It was pleasing to see so many students giving their best effort and encouraging their peers throughout the event. Students demonstrated our school values of respect, responsibility, and resilience as they supported one another, approached the event with a positive attitude, and showed determination to complete the course.

A special thank you to our parent helpers and staff for their assistance and support on the day. Your time and commitment helped ensure the event ran smoothly and provided a positive experience for all students. We are proud of the way our students represented themselves and our school, making the day an enjoyable and memorable one for everyone involved.
