2027 Year 11 Information Evening

On Wednesday, 22nd July, Tarneit Senior College welcomed our current Year 10 students and their families to the 2027 Year 11 Information Evening. The evening was designed to help students prepare for the final two years of their school education by providing valuable information about subject selection, future pathways, and the learning programs available at the College.

Throughout the evening, learning area teams from across the College hosted information stalls, giving students and families the opportunity to speak directly with teachers about subjects, course requirements, and where different study options can lead beyond school. Staff also provided information about the College's senior programs, including the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), the Victorian Certificate of Education – Vocational Major (VCE-VM), and the Victorian Pathway Certificate (VPC), an invitation-only program designed to support students through a personalised pathway.

Representatives from Careers and Pathways and Interact Club were also available to discuss the additional opportunities and support available throughout Years 11 and 12.

The evening provided students and their families with the opportunity to ask questions, explore their options, and begin making informed decisions about the pathways that best align with their interests, strengths, and future goals. As students prepare for this important stage of their education, these conversations play a vital role in helping them make confident choices for their final years at school.

We would like to thank all students, parents, guardians, and carers who attended the evening, as well as the staff whose preparation and commitment ensured the event was informative, welcoming, and well organised.

We look forward to supporting our Year 10 students as they transition into Year 11 and begin the next stage of their educational journey at Tarneit Senior College.
