Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Families,

Father’s Day Afternoon

A big thank you to all our fathers and special visitors who joined us for our Father’s Day Afternoon on Friday, 4 September. It was wonderful to see so many families come together to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with our students.

Our special visitors had the opportunity to participate in a range of activities, including tunnel ball, paper plane throwing, egg and spoon races, and much more! There were plenty of smiles, laughs and some friendly competition along the way.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon such a fun and memorable celebration. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

SWPBS

Each Friday, students who have received a School Value sticker place a pom-pom into one of four whole-school reward options. This term, our students voted for a Classroom Disco as their whole-school reward!

On Thursday 17th September, we celebrated our whole-school reward with classroom discos!  Students had a brilliant afternoon dancing with their friends and especially loved the glow sticks! We even had prizes for some spectacular dance moves. 

It was wonderful to see everyone having fun and celebrating together. We hope all of our students enjoyed this well-deserved reward for demonstrating our Maramba School Values throughout the term! 

Congratulations to all our students for consistently demonstrating our School Values of Respect, Relationships, Resilience and Responsibility each day. We are very proud of the way our students continue to make Maramba Primary School a positive, safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Forward Planning for 2027 

It is already that time of year when we must begin our forward planning for the 2027 school year. If your family will not be returning to MPS next year, please notify the front office as soon as possible. Anticipated enrolment numbers have a direct impact on our future grade structures, staffing, and student placements. Early notice greatly assists us in planning effectively for the entire community. Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership.

Term 4 Assemblies

The dates for Term 4 assemblies are:

• 8th October

• 22nd October 

• 5th Nov

• 19th Nov

• 3rd Dec

• 17th Dec

Our students will showcase their AUSLAN and Performing Arts skills to perform at each assembly, except for the final assembly on 17 December, which will be our Awards and Christmas Raffle assembly.

We hope everyone has a wonderful and relaxing holiday break! We look forward to welcoming our students, staff and school community back on Monday, October 5th for the start of Term 4.
