We are excited to introduce a new initiative at the college: English Drop-In. This initiative provides an opportunity for students seek support from English staff, get feedback, and refine their work. With end-of-year English examinations coming up, this is a valuable chance for students to work on areas for improvement, build confidence, and further develop their English skills. All students are welcome and encouraged to attend.

When? Wednesday mornings from 7:45 am – 8:30 a.m.

Where? C1

Year 7 2027 Transition Day (for current Year 6 students)

We look forward to welcoming our 2027 Year 7 students for their Transition Day on Thursday 22 October.  The day will run from 8:30 am - 2:50 pm.  Our new Year 7 students entering the college next year will have an opportunity to meet our current Year 6 students through fun 'get to know you' activities during the day. They will also have an opportunity to explore the senior campus and learn about the senior timetable.

Students will also complete AAS diagnostic testing on the day.

Students should wear their current school uniform and bring a hat, morning tea, lunch and a bottle of water.

On Tuesday 27 October, commencing at 6:00 pm, there will be a parent information evening (online) for our Year 7 2027 families.  The link to the Teams meeting will be sent out on the day of the meeting. Please ensure your email addresses are up to date to ensure the college has correct contact with you.

Maths Drop-In

It has been a fantastic start to Term 4, with many students attending Maths Drop-In on Tuesday morning! It is wonderful to see students taking the initiative, seeking support and making a commitment to improving their understanding and achieving their personal best.

With exams just around the corner, now is the perfect time to make the most of this valuable opportunity. Maths Drop-In provides a welcoming and supportive environment where students can ask questions, clarify challenging concepts, revise key skills and build confidence in their mathematical abilities.

Whether you need help with a particular topic, want to work through practice questions or simply need a space to consolidate your learning, Maths Drop-In is the place to be!

Come along, bring a friend and challenge yourself to do better, be better and achieve your best! Every question you ask and every problem you attempt is another step towards success. Don't leave it until the last minute - take advantage of the support available and make this term count!
