Pyjama Day @ SMDP!

Please come wearing your cosy PJs on Friday, 18th September so we can raise some money for the St Vincent de Paul Society and celebrate the end of Term 3! Thanks to all our families for your love and care for your children over the past term - we wish you a safe, relaxing break!

On Tuesday, 6th October our Year 5 and 6 students are participating in a “Courage to Care” incursion here at school. Courage to Care’s incursions are designed to create a generation of Upstanders - ordinary people with the courage and skills to safely stand up and act when they witness discrimination or injustice. 

The Courage to care facilitators guide  students through an interactive workshop exploring the ideas of prejudice, discrimination, stereotyping and racism, and identify how these issues can escalate if left unchecked. We are looking forward to working with the team from ”Courage to Care” and learning from them early next term.
