HARMONY DAY- FRIDAY 20TH MARCH

On Friday 20th March, Carnegie Primary School will be celebrating Harmony Day, as part of Cultural Diversity Week.

Harmony Day is a wonderful opportunity for us to recognise and celebrate Australia’s rich cultural diversity and to reflect on the importance of respect, inclusion and belonging for everyone in our community.

Students are invited to come to school wearing orange (the official colour of Harmony Day) or traditional cultural dress to represent their family heritage. Students may also wear a small touch of orange with their regular school uniform if preferred.

We look forward to celebrating the many cultures that make up our Carnegie Primary School community and embracing the message that everyone belongs

Kind regards,

The Special Events Team

HAVE YOUR SAY ON HOW PFA FUNDRAISING IS SPENT !

Each year, the generous fundraising efforts of our school community helps to provide additional resources, programs, and experiences for CPS students. As the PFA plans for  future fundraising priorities, we are seeking input from our community on how the funds raised by the PFA should be invested to best support learning, wellbeing, and school life at Carnegie Primary School.

All CPS parents and carers are invited to complete this short survey: https://forms.gle/XHoEXiHVedPThd3C7

You are most welcome to seek input from your children in completing the survey. The survey will close next Tuesday 10th March.

The survey will give you the opportunity to select up to four projects (from a list of eight options) that you would most like to see funded by the PFA.  An image of each project is provided for illustrative purposes.

Please keep in mind that the costs of the project vary, meaning the PFA may be able to fund one larger project or several smaller projects.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to share your perspective. Your input is highly valued and will help guide the PFA in ranking priorities and planning future fundraising goals.
