It has certainly been a busy and successful term overall. One of the highlights has been watching our new students settle in so well. I think this is a real strength of St Catherine's School the way our current girls help their peers settle in. Their growing confidence and sense of belonging have been wonderful to see, and they have quickly become valued members of our community.

Two Sundays ago, our ELC and Junior School families enjoyed a wonderful trip to Healesville. The day was filled with excitement, exploration, and plenty of smiles as students engaged with the natural environment and shared new experiences with their peers. Opportunities like these are invaluable in fostering curiosity, confidence, and community connection beyond the classroom. A big thank to our STEM teacher Tom Lewis, who led them like a true Pied Piper! And to Melissa Chen from ELC and Deputy Head of Junior School, Kate Banks who came along to support.

We were also delighted to host our first Open Morning of the year last Friday, which proved to be a great success. It was a pleasure welcoming families into our learning spaces and giving parents a genuine sense of the energy, engagement, and creativity that define our classrooms. The positive feedback was greatly appreciated and reflects the strong partnership we value between school and home.

We were also proud to showcase the talents of our students during the recent music assembly. Our young musicians demonstrated remarkable skill, enthusiasm, and dedication, and it was a joy to celebrate their achievements together. Given that we are only in Term 1, it has been remarkable to see their progress. We are all looking forward to seeing them perform in the new music school!

As the term draws to a close, we thank all members of our community for their continued support and involvement. We wish everyone a restful and joyful Easter break and look forward to another exciting term ahead.
