6D Primary Mass

This Friday, 6D will be leading the Primary Mass. The focus of the Mass will be St Joseph, whose feast day is the 19 March. St Joseph is the foster father of Jesus and spouse of Mary. Within this Mass, our Year 6 Mini Vinnies students will receive their badges and make a pledge of commitment to this role within the school. Family and friends are invited to join the Mass on Friday 20 March at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Celebrating Seniors Week – “Live Life in Colour”

Our Year 6 Mini Vinnies students and the 2D class had a wonderful time celebrating Seniors Week at the Inverell Club last week. The morning was filled with connection, creativity and community spirit as students shared morning tea with local seniors, enjoyed conversations, and worked together on colourful craft activities.

The event was a beautiful reminder of how simple moments, such as a friendly chat, a shared laugh, or a creative activity, can brighten someone’s day. Our students represented Holy Trinity with kindness and enthusiasm, truly putting our values into action and showing how small gestures and big smiles can make a meaningful difference in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs Lea, Mrs Doyle and Mrs Fuda-Riley for accompanying the students and helping make this special morning possible. It was a joyful way to celebrate this year’s Seniors Week theme, “Live Life in Colour."

Christian Living Days

This week we are delighted to welcome the Young Lasallian Youth team to Holy Trinity as they lead our annual Christian Living Days with our students. Year 10 students will take part in their retreat experience today, while Year 7 will participate on Wednesday 18 March.

Lasallian Youth Ministry creates opportunities for young people to encounter faith, service and community in meaningful and engaging ways. Through reflection, discussion and shared activities, students are encouraged to deepen their understanding of themselves, their relationships with others, and their relationship with God. The program also invites students to recognise the gifts they have been given and to consider how they can use these gifts to serve others.

Christian Living Days are an important part of our mission as a Catholic school, supporting the spiritual growth and wellbeing of our students. As Holy Trinity was founded by the De La Salle Brothers, we are grateful for the opportunity to continue strengthening our connection with the Lasallian community and its rich tradition of faith, education and service.

Big Water Walk

On Thursday, 2 April, our students will take part in our annual Big Water Walk in support of Project Compassion – Unite Against Poverty. This meaningful initiative helps raise awareness and funds for communities around the world who do not have access to clean, safe drinking water.

Every day, millions of people are forced to walk more than 30 minutes just to collect water for their families. This Lent, our HTS students will walk in solidarity with them, experiencing in a small way the challenge many face daily, while raising vital funds to support life-changing projects through Project Compassion.

We warmly invite families and friends to sponsor our students and support this important cause. Donations can be made in two ways:

  • Cash donation – Students are encouraged to kindly seek sponsorship, complete their form, and return it with donations in Week 10.

  • Online donation – Scan the QR code provided (tax deductible)

Every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference in helping provide clean water and hope to communities in need.

Thank you for your generosity and for walking alongside us in the fight against poverty this Lent. Together, we can make a meaningful impact. 💜
