Welcome back to all our Year 7 students! We hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday break. It’s been wonderful to see everyone return refreshed and ready to dive into a busy and exciting term ahead.

Last week, we were thrilled to be welcoming our Grade 5 and 6 students for Awareness Day, giving them a chance to experience a taste of high school life. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build familiarity and confidence ahead of their transition. Families were warmly invited to join us for the Parent Information Night following the day’s events — it was great meeting you and answering any questions you may have.

Year 7 students will also kicked off the term with school football, providing a great opportunity to build teamwork, stay active, and represent our school with pride.

Year 7 Camp

Looking ahead, don’t forget our Year 7 Camp in Week 8 (Tuesday 10th - Friday 13th June)!

The camp is for 4 days at Camp Coolamatong on the Gippsland Lakes. The students will be involved in a range of activities such as climbing and abseiling, sports, low ropes, cooking, boat ride to 90 mile beach, combat archery, mountain bike riding, kayaking, bushwalking, sailing and an indigenous session. This camp is a great opportunity for students to get to know other students as well as try unfamiliar activities.

Please consent on Compass or contact the office if you require support. Year 7 Camp promises to be a memorable experience full of learning, adventure, and fun.

The cost of the camp is $465. Payment plans, CSEF and School Saving Bonus can be used to pay for this camp. The consent and payment are due by the end of May

We’re looking forward to a fantastic term together!
