Last week, we were excited to welcome some little visitors into our kitchen! The Year 3 and 4 students had the opportunity to show the 3 and 4-year-old Kinder children what happens during our kitchen classes. Together, we enjoyed some delicious pasta and banana muffins. Charlie, Jon and Hazel proudly demonstrated how to safely cut the pasta before everyone had the chance to taste fresh pasta!

This week, we headed back out into the garden and got our hands dirty! Students made newspaper pots and planted their own mint to take home and watch grow. We also planted beetroot, tomatoes, broccoli, lettuce and peas in thgarden beds.

We are looking forward to watching our plants grow and, hopefully, harvesting our veryown produce to use in future kitchen classes! 🌱🥦🍅🌿
