Infants Athletics Carnival
Last Friday, our back oval came alive for a wonderful afternoon of sport at our Infants Athletics Carnival! It was fantastic to see so many families and friends cheering on our Kinder to Year 2 runners.
The students put all their recent practice to the test in the individual running events before wrapping up the day with some novelty relays. A huge well done to every student who gave it their all, and special congratulations to all our winners and placegetters!
Todd Woodbridge Cup
On Friday in Week 4 our Primary Tennis teams had a great day at the Inverell Todd Woodbridge Cup Competition! All participating students gave maximum effort, showcasing exemplary sportsmanship and teamwork both on and off the court.
A huge congratulations to our Stage 2 team, who finished as overall Stage Winners! Our Stage 3 team also put in an incredible performance to claim the Runners-Up spot, narrowly missing first place by just a single point in a countback. We are incredibly proud of all our players!
Rugby League State Finals
A massive congratulations to our HTS U16s Rugby League team on their exceptional effort in last weeks Small Schools State Final in Bathurst! The boys put on a thrilling display of grit and heart, falling just short in a hard-fought 22–32 match against a strong Junee High School side.
Beyond their valiant performance on the field, the team enjoyed a fantastic trip to Bathurst, which included a memorable lap around the iconic Mount Panorama circuit.
A huge thank you to Mr. Jeffery for his expert coaching, Mr. Koch for looking after the team, and Mrs. Hancock, Mrs. Sterling, and Mrs. Sinclair for their dedicated support throughout the trip!
