Road Safety

I have been working with the police to ensure we have consistent messaging around what we can and can't own when it comes to e-bikes and scooters. Please see the graphic below for the most up to date information.

Screen Time

As a school we are working to limit screen time use at school. Laptops can only be used by students during recess and lunch for school purposes (homework/classwork) inside the library. Students can only use laptops for gaming on Wednesdays and Fridays inside the library.

There is to be no laptop use in the yard during recess and lunch.

Thank you for your cooperation with these new guidelines.

New focus on safer online gaming - update from eSafety Commissioner

Online gaming can be a great way for children and young people to connect, learn and have fun.

But like any online space, gaming also comes with risks including unwanted contact, scams, harmful behaviour, in game purchases and privacy concerns.

We recently published a report that examines the measures Roblox, Fortnite, Minecraft and Steam have in place to protect users from serious online harms. Our findings show that while some platforms have introduced positive safety updates, approaches to preventing exposure to serious harm remain inconsistent.

Explore our gaming guide for parents and carers for practical advice and conversation starters to help you understand your child's gaming experiences and keep the dialogue going.
