From the Principal Leader

Dear staff, students, parents, carers and friends of Chisholm,
Welcome Back Term 4
Welcome back to Term 4! As we enter the final chapter of our school year, it is a wonderful time for students to consolidate their learning, set clear goals, and finish the year with focus and determination. The final term invites both reflection and renewal — a chance to celebrate growth, strengthen friendships, and prepare for the opportunities that lie ahead.
This week, our Year 12 (2026) students commenced their HSC journey by participating in their Senior Retreat and Elevate Study Sessions. The retreat provided a valuable opportunity to pause from the busyness of study, reflect on their purpose, and deepen their connection with God and one another as a community of faith and learners. It was a time for stillness and spiritual growth — to listen for God’s voice guiding them forward.
As we remind all students of the importance of applying themselves fully to their studies this term, we draw inspiration from Scripture:
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23
May this be a guiding reminder that our effort, perseverance, and learning are all part of living out our faith through action. Let us journey together through Term 4 with gratitude, purpose, and a shared commitment to excellence in all we do.
Announcing Our 2026 Senior Student Leadership Team
It is with great pride and excitement that we announce our Senior Student Leadership Team for 2026. These young women have been entrusted with the important responsibility of guiding and inspiring our student community in the year ahead.
College Captain: Olivia Anastasio
College Vice Captains: Lara Hodges, Anastasia Rubelj, and Fatima Syeda
As leaders, they will work alongside staff and students to foster a sense of unity, purpose, and pride within our College community. Their leadership will be grounded in the values that define us — Faith, Courage, Tolerance, Dignity, Compassion, and Justice — and inspired by the life and mission of our patron, Caroline Chisholm, whose deep faith and commitment to the service of others remain a guiding light for our College.
Caroline Chisholm once said,
“I promise to know neither country nor creed, but to serve all justly and impartially.”
These words beautifully capture the essence of servant leadership — a leadership grounded in fairness, compassion, and inclusivity.
The year ahead holds exciting opportunities for growth and collaboration as our Senior Leaders begin their journey. They are reminded that leadership is not about status, but about serving others with humility and purpose and working together to model excellence and guide their peers with courage and faith. We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make within our community.
Congratulations to Olivia, Lara, Anastasia, and Fatima on this well-deserved achievement. May God bless them with wisdom, strength, and joy as they lead in the true spirit of Caroline Chisholm.
Mrs Tania Cairns
Principal Leader
