It has been a busy fortnight in the garden despite some wet and windy weather!

Several classes continued their weed identification studies, putting their knowledge into practice with some much-needed weeding around the Discovery Centre. This work will help prevent weeds from going to seed and spreading throughout the garden.

Other classes focused on the final stage of our classroom composting project. Students sifted the decomposed compost, preparing this nutrient-rich material for use in upcoming planting activities.

On one particularly rainy day, our Grade 5 students showed great creativity by designing and decorating new signage for the garden. Keep an eye out for these colourful additions appearing around the garden in the coming weeks!
