Foundation:

Foundation students are having a wonderful time singing the “Body Song” in Japanese! It’s sung to the same tune as “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes,” but entirely in Japanese. Some families may have already heard their children singing it at home. 😊If you’d like to sing along together, you can find the song on YouTube using this. 

Year 1 & 2:

Year 1 and 2 students have been practising the Japanese story “The Big Turnip” (大きいかぶ ookii kabu). They are learning all the lines in Japanese, using expressive hand gestures and movements to bring the story to life. It’s wonderful to see how confidently they can speak and act in Japanese!
