KN Class Report - Caring for our community

Warami Families!

Last week, KN learned about ways we can care for our school during our HSIE lesson. We explored our connection with Country, Land and the community around us, recognising that school is a special place that we all share and belong to. We spoke about the different ways we can show kindness and honour for the people and spaces around us, helping our school remain a safe, welcoming and happy place for everyone.

Throughout the week, students thoughtfully put their learning into action during everyday classroom routines and experiences. Whether it was caring for our resources, looking after our environment or showing respect during learning time, it was lovely to see students showing care in so many small but meaningful ways.

These everyday actions help our whole community feel valued, safe and welcomed. Together, the little things we do each day can make a big difference in creating an environment where everyone feels respected and included.

KN would love you to think about this with us: What are some small ways we can help make our shared community feel safe, welcoming and cared for?
