Stage 3 proudly led the school assembly on Thursday, 28 May, sharing their learning and talents with students, staff, and families.
The assembly focused on the Catholic Personal Value of Fidelity in Relationships. Students explained what fidelity means and presented a series of short role plays demonstrating how it can be shown at St Mary of the Angels through kindness, honesty, loyalty, and supporting others.
Students also showcased their learning from History by sharing their Information Reports on the Australian Gold Rush. Audience members enjoyed hearing fascinating facts about life on the goldfields and the impact the Gold Rush had on Australia. The hall was further brightened by the display of students’ Gold Rush-inspired artworks, which highlighted both their creativity and historical understanding.
To conclude the assembly, Stage 3 entertained the audience with a musical performance. Students sang Riptide and impressed everyone with their boomwhacker skills, performing the famous riffs from Eye of the Tiger and Smoke on the Water.
It was a wonderful celebration of learning, creativity, and teamwork, and Stage 3 should be very proud of their efforts. Congratulations to all students on a fantastic assembly!

A big congratulations to our Zinc Halo winners!
