Simultaneous Storytime

📖Students from ES1 - Stage 1 gathered at the Guyra Library for the National Simultaneous Storytime event organised by the Australian Library and Information Association on Wednesday 27th May. 

Special guest reader, Armidale Regional Council Deputy Mayor Cr Todd Redwood gave an animated reading of this year’s official book - 'Luna Roo: the Kangaroo Baller', written by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, and illustrated by Jake Minton.

The students also participated in a "Luna Roo" Colouring competition which is on display in the council chambers.

A big thankyou to Armidale Regional Council who kindly organised transport with Oxley Explorer for our young people and staff. This was greatly appreciated as we were lucky enough to have experienced rain that day.

A big thankyou to Wendy and the staff at the Guyra Library, this was a fantastic event and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
