School and Kindergarten Parents and Friends Association Meeting - Wednesday 27th November 2024, at 6.30pm at a venue TBC

The next PFA meeting will be a General Meeting on Wednesday 27th November at 6.30pm at a venue yet to be confirmed.  This is a great opportunity to meet new parents and staff, and a place where you can share your ideas for fundraising and how you would like to see the money raised to be spent on your children.  All new and existing parents are encouraged to attend and toddlers are most welcome.

Please note that PFA Meetings are held monthly and you are free to attend as many or as few as you like - the PFA do not lock anyone in for a commitment.

SpringFest Market Sunday - 24th November

The Miners Rest Primary School are beneficiaries of SpringFest for 2024.  One of the events we assist at is the SpringFest Market Sunday.  We are required to provide 24 volunteers throughout the day in shifts (6am-10am; 10am-2pm; 2pm-close).  No specific skills are required, just a can-do attitude.  An information and induction night is being held via zoom on Thursday 14th November, 7pm. If you can assist in one of these times, please contact the office.  We have generously had some vouchers from Smoke on the Weir donated for those who volunteer - thank you Sally.
