Jubilee 2025: Pilgrims of Hope
All parents & carers are invited to our end of year mass this Friday at 9.30am in St Brigid’s Church. At this mass we will farewell our Year 6 students.
On Tuesday 16th December, students from K-Year 5 will join our parish at 9.30am mass to celebrate with the Migrant Jubilee Cross. This cross has been making its way around Australia, starting from the Jubilee of Migrants in October 2025 with the theme ‘Migrants, Missionaries of Hope’. The Cross is a gift from migrant communities to the broader Church, showcasing the faith and contributions that they bring. The cross has been created to symbolise the Church as:
a place of refuge…
a place of welcome…
a place of integration…
and a place of solidarity.
This cross is extra special to us in Quirindi as it was crafted by a local parishioner John Kerklaan. Congratulations John for creating such a beautiful symbol for the Jubilee year.
Parents and cares are warmly invited to this special mass. As the cross journeys across Catholic parishes and schools, may it touch our spirits and bring us together in hope.
