Masses
We offer our sincere thanks to Stage 3 for their exceptional leadership in organizing and leading Friday's Mass, marking our final liturgical celebration for Term 2. The students demonstrated wonderful reverence and commitment, setting a beautiful example for our younger grades.
We are also deeply grateful to the family members and friends who attended. Your presence is a wonderful testament to our supportive community and greatly encourages our students in their faith journey.
A special shout out to our fabulous altar servers, Fr Damien, readers, tech gurus and leaders who demonstrated such reverence and confidence in their roles.
I wish everyone a safe and restful upcoming break!
Sacraments

Confirmation, Sunday 26 July at 10am

Please keep our students in your prayers as they prepare for this special milestones: Jax, Blake, Lucas, Angus, Preston, Piper, Makenna and Chastity.
We enjoyed a wonderful Confirmation retreat day on Monday 22nd June where the students were able to engage in some deeper learning about the Sacrament, explore the lives of their chosen saints and to present their research through artwork. I am so proud of the way everyone participated with open minds and rich conversations.

Bishop Murphy will be visiting with the Confirmation Candidates on the Friday before Confirmation. This will be his first visit to our school and Parish as a Bishop. We look forward to welcoming Bishop Murphy to our wonderful school!
Angelus
We will be starting to learn this prayer as a whole school community next term. We have decided as a school community that, although the tradition is to say this prayer at midday each day, we will be adjusting this slightly to signal the transition between maths and religion lessons at 12.25pm each day. It is an opportunity to pause in our busy day and to take a moment to decompress and pray.
RE Storytelling
Our Stage 1 students have been learning about the story of the 'Feeding of the Crowd' through the method of Storytelling. They enjoyed lots of different ways to respond to the story and showed great insight and understanding through their sharing.

Real Talk
We are excited to welcome back to Barraba, the team from Real Talk. They will be here on Monday 29th June where they will be working with our Year 6 and Year 4 students in separate sessions. All parents should have received information specific to their child's class. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out!
If you have any questions regarding masses, Religion, or general queries please be in contact with me; no question is too small or too hard and I am only a phone call or email away! I am only too happy to try and be of help.
God bless,
Deb McDouall
