Term 3

Secondary 7/8 Section Update

It has been a busy and exciting term for the Secondary 7/8 section, even though it has only been a short nine weeks. The highlight of the term has undoubtedly been preparing for the Rock and Roll Spectacular, which takes place this week with two shows. Students have been working hard to learn dances, lines and stage movements, and they are looking forward to performing for parents and the school community.

There have also been some big changes to the play spaces in the yard. Our students have shown great maturity in adjusting to the new spaces and making positive decisions during playtime. Many have also enjoyed representing Concord in school sports this term, taking part in football, basketball and athletics with enthusiasm and pride.

We started the term with an exciting excursion to the Melbourne Zoo, where students explored animal classifications. To finish off the term, students participated in a hands-on incursion, meeting and even touching fascinating creatures such as a lizard, snake, stick insect and crocodile.

It has been a wonderful term of learning and fun, and we are very proud of the efforts and achievements of all our students.
