Student Progress reports
In an effort to keep families informed and up to date we will once again provide progress reports at the end of this term. This will give you a snapshot of your child’s progress and achievements this term. These will be on XUNO this afternoon. Please contact the office if you require a hardcopy. Please note Parent teacher interviews will be at the end of term 2.
Teams Tennis
Well done to the 43 students who travelled to Echuca last week to compete in the teams tennis competition. A shout to Mrs. Mangan and Mr Nihill who planned and ran the entire day for all of the schools and to Mr. Rasmussen, and Shelley (and Parents) for supporting our students on the day.

Attendance rewards
Congratulations to 1/2 Carroll who finished on top of the attendance ladder for the Month of March with only 11 absences. A shout out to 5/6 Rasmussen and Prep Pascoe who both had no unexplained absences. These classes were treated to a special lunch and activities on Wednesday to celebrate their commitment to being at school and learning. Today 86 students recieved a Zooper Dooper and a couple of treats because they achieved 100% attendance for March.
Cross Country
Congratulations to our Year P-6 students who competed in our RPS House Cross Country carnival today, cross country running is a great challenge and I really admire students who test themselves to finish their race.Congratulations to those students who persevered and had a go, earning points for their house and for some of whom who will go on to represent our school at the next stage of competition.

Staffing changes in Term 2
This week we farewell Mr Irwin who has picked up a position in a Bendigo School for the remainder of the year so he can be closer to home. (Congratulations Darcy!!) Mr Irwin has worked in our school for a number of years in several roles but most recently as the go to person in the 3/4 team and for XUNO, our student management system. He worked directly with our Student Voice leaders in this time, running lunchtime acitvities and setting up our community clubs up. On behalf of the school community we thank Mr Irwin and wish him all this best. While this is great for Mr Irwin this leaves a big gap for us to fill which has changed a couple of things.
Miss Blackman will move across to cover Mr Irwins class with Miss ietto, while Mr Fawcett will increase his time with us to 5 days each week.
Grade 3-6 Auslan will now be cover by Ms Oliver & Mrs Burnett.
Easter
On behalf of the staff, I would like to wish all of our families a safe and happy Easter. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday 20th April.
