Friendly Reminders

At St. Francis, a whole school expectation in Week 3 will be, at the beginning of the first bell, students will sit in their chairs and begin quiet reading of their decodable readers.   

The Foundation Unit will be commencing this now to learn and establish this new routine. 

Learning Conversations

Learning Conversations will take place in Week 4 of this term. 

These conversations provide an opportunity for you to discuss your child’s learning with their teacher, celebrate their successes and set future learning goals for Term 2.  

If you are scheduled to have a PSG in Weeks 6-8 this term, this will take the place of the Learning Conversation. Remember, you can choose to have your child join you for the beginning of the PSG meeting to share their achievements and discuss their goals.
