DigiTech - Cam Taylor

Students will continue learning about data to gain practical skills in recognising, organising and representing data in meaningful ways. They will practice logging in to become more independent and efficient with this skill.

Art - Cherise Le Brocq-Joppich

In Term Two, the Foundation students will be identifying the subject of artworks. They will begin looking at primary colours and focusing on creating artworks using shapes and lines.

Science - Jess Widdicombe

Materials and their properties is our focus. We’ll identify what objects are made from and continue refining science skills of observing, grouping and recording.

Music - Stacie Mason

Students will explore songs and games that use crotchet (ta) and quaver (ti-ti) rhythms, and notes ‘so’ and ‘mi’ of the solfa scale. They will learn to recognise these using their voices, instruments and movement, listening to, reading and writing music. Songs will include See Saw, Bluebells Cockle Shells, Doggie Doggie and more.

RRRR - John O'Connor

This term, students will continue to use greetings for different times of the day and practice the Greetings and Numbers they learnt in Term One. They will also learn colours through repetition, song, games and art. Students will be encouraged to repeat vocabulary modelled by Bu Jacqui and praised when they use Indonesian.

PE – Luke Freeman and Class Teachers

Students will be introduced to the fundamental movement skill of catching and will participate in a variety of fitness activities, including running, skipping, aerobic circuits, and fitness games.

These activities are designed to develop their aerobic capacity, as well as their fine and gross motor skills and spatial awareness. The term will conclude with a focus on gymnastics and dance.
