Messages of Gratitude
From our College Board Chair:
Thank you Mr Pearse
On behalf of the Endeavour College Board, I would like to say a big thank you to
Mr Peter Pearse who has stepped into the Principal role for the last three terms.
Peter’s leadership and positive attitude is a great asset to our College community. We have really enjoyed working with Peter throughout his time in the Principal role.
Peter’s transition into the Principal role has been smooth, professional and has allowed us to continue to focus on the delivery of great education along with the care of our students, staff and families.
Peter’s commitment and heart for the well-being of our College community has been amplified and evident at all times.
We look forward to continuing to work closely with Peter as he returns to his Deputy Principal role next term. Thank you very much Peter.
We are excited to welcome Richard Baird, Endeavour's new Principal, next Term. Richard will be officially installed on Friday 5 May.
We will record and live stream this important event so stay tuned for information which will be coming soon.
Richard will be taking up the reigns of our new strategic plan that we intend to roll-out next Term. We have much to look forward to and celebrate in our 25th Year, as we embark on a renewed purpose for the College.
Thank you Mr Wooldridge
Mr Daniel Woolridge has stepped into the Deputy Principal role with ease. He has been a great support to Peter and the management team alike. I wish to also thank Dan on behalf of the College Board for all that you have contributed during this time.
You have a wonderful heart and skill set for innovation and enhancement of education. Your deep care for people is such a strength and blessing for our community.
Leanne Ridsdale
Endeavour College Board Chairperson
From our Acting Principal
As we end this term, it seems pertinent to thank a range of people who have supported the College throughout the last six months.
Mr Daniel Wooldridge has capably stepped into the position of Acting Deputy Principal during the time I have been in the Acting Principal position. Dan has a wonderful skillset with a beautiful combination of deep analytical thinking, practical solution-making and strong relational skills. The energy, optimism and stability he brought to the role has been inspiring and we are thankful that we have leaders at Endeavour like Dan who can step so capably into a position like this. We wish him well as he steps back into the Year 12 Year Level Leader position as well as continuing to support the College leadership team as Richard transitions into his new position.
We are thankful for Ms Lauren Gray’s leadership as the Acting Year 12 Year Level Leader throughout Term 1. Starting a new school year with a fresh cohort of Year 12s requires skill and a high degree of organisation. Lauren has been outstanding in her work to steer our senior students in the right direction during Term 1.
Mr Jamie Richards will return from Long Service Leave at the beginning of next term, and we have been thankful for Ms Laura Brenko’s leadership in the Drama Faculty throughout Term 1 and for her capable skills to lead our SACE students.
Endeavour is blessed with staff who are willing and capable to step into leadership roles.
Peter Pearse
Acting Principal
