Celebrating Student Learning
Goodness! The kids of Kalinda just never stop, check out some SUPER remote learning from this week. , Awesome remote writing by Toby S in Foundation S!, In Performing Arts, Cora (FW) worked on a comparison of movie and book characters in The BFG. , Jasmine (5DW) wrote a fantastic Information Report on Somali and The Forest Spirit., In Visual Arts, Guided Drawing and Symmetrical Snowflakes from F-2 students Sarah A, Victoria L, Brock H and Isabelle B., Some amazing Japanese work by F-2 (and some joyous faces!) from Toby J, Mason G, Yumiao F, Mikayla E, Harrison P, Eloise G and Molly., Grade 5s and 6s are completing a ‘Potato In A Box Experiment’ to investigate the structural features and adaptations of living things to their environment., Foundation R held a scavenger hunt for items with different features (eg. soft, furry, spiky),, Grade 6s celebrated Tanabata with our Sister School friends at Lilyvale Primary School in Japan. Tanabata is celebrated on the 7th July by writing a wish on a piece of paper and hanging on a branch of bamboo. (Photos of our wishes were taken last term to send to our friends in time for Tanabata!)
